Whitleigh Community Primary School

Whitleigh PrimaryThe School opened in September 2000 following the amalgamation of Whitleigh Infants and Whitleigh Junior School, and caters for nursery and primary age pupils and students of the Whitleigh area.

The school's main aim is to provide a quality education that will develop children and young people's talents and potential to the full. We are fortunate in having a skilled and talented staff that has professional expertise across the full range of subjects.

Whitleigh Primary is a community school that welcomes the involvement of parents and others in its activities. We aim to provide pupils and students with a secure, caring environment in which they can learn and develop purposefully.

We are fortunate to have recently acquired funding to enable us to create one building to accommodate all of the Foundation, Infant and Junior children and young people. This future development is an exciting opportunity for our school and will ensure that we have excellent facilities for the pupils and students and the community.

During the year we send out regular newsletters, hold parents meetings and are always pleased to see parents in school.

We encourage parents to visit the school to have a look around and meet staff and pupils and students. The secretary will be pleased to make an appointment for you.

May I wish you and your children and young people a fond and fruitful relationship with Whitleigh Community Primary School.
